Will it hold up in wind?
The reinforced 10-rib frame is built to flex and recover in the kind of gusts you get between buildings on a normal wet day.
Like every folding umbrella, it isn't built for storm-force wind, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you a promise it can't keep.
How big is it open, and how small does it fold?
Open, the canopy spans about 41 inches across and 45 inches around the curve, which covers one adult comfortably and two people if you're friendly.
Folded, it's roughly 15 inches long and 2 inches thick with the handle, so it fits a tote, a backpack, or a car door pocket.
Does it close automatically too?
Yes. One press opens it and a second press retracts the ribs.
You then push the shaft down by hand until it clicks and locks, which is what keeps the mechanism from wearing out.
What color are the inside ribs?
The interior rib accents are assigned at random from each production run, so the trim inside your canopy may not match the photo exactly.
